ASI Protected Monument

The tomb of Allama Afzal Khan ‘Mullah Shukrullah Shirazi’, poet-scholar and prime minister to Shah Jahan, built around 1635 on the Yamuna’s left bank. It is the only monument in Agra faced entirely in Persian glazed-tile work (kashi/chini), whose blues and turquoise still glow on the river-facing façade — a hidden gem for visitors interested in Mughal decorative arts.

Timings: Sunrise to sunset, all days

Weekly closure / special viewing: Open all seven days.
