ASI Protected Monument

The resting place of Mariam-uz-Zamani (Harka Bai / ‘Jodha Bai’), the Rajput empress of Akbar and mother of Jahangir, adapted from a Lodi-era baradari set in a walled garden near Sikandra. Its carved sandstone façades and quiet grounds make it a worthwhile addition for visitors already at Akbar’s Tomb, one kilometre away.

How to reach: On NH-19 at Sikandra, about 1 km from Akbar’s Tomb towards Agra city.

Note:-

  1. Fees are subject to revision by ASI/ADA; the online portal reflects current rates.
  2. ADA toll: Foreign visitors additionally pay a ₹500 ADA pathkar (toll), valid the same day across Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s Tomb and Itimad-ud-Daulah; it is not levied on Fridays.
