The resting place of Mariam-uz-Zamani (Harka Bai / ‘Jodha Bai’), the Rajput empress of Akbar and mother of Jahangir, adapted from a Lodi-era baradari set in a walled garden near Sikandra. Its carved sandstone façades and quiet grounds make it a worthwhile addition for visitors already at Akbar’s Tomb, one kilometre away.
